These flavorful greens can be cooked Cajun style in less than 30 minutes. You can serve them as a side, or as a main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp - Animal Fat
  • 1/2 cup - Bone Broth
  • 2 tsp - Garlic, Crushed (About 2 Cloves)
  • 1 lb - Ham, Fully Cooked, Uncured Cut Into Large Chunks
  • 1 ea - Onion Chopped
  • 6 cups - Raw Greens (Collard, Mustard, Turnip, Spinach, Kale, etc.)
  • 1/8 tsp - Salt
  • 1 ea - Turnip Chopped

Directions

Ingredients

  • 6 cups raw greens (collard, mustard, turnip, spinach, kale, etc.)
  • 1 turnip, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 pound fully cooked, uncured ham, cut into large chunks
  • 1 tablespoon animal fat ( I used bacon fat)
  • 2 teaspoons (about 2 cloves) crushed garlic
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup poultry broth ( bone broth, if you have it)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into Instant Pot
  2. Close lid.
  3. Press Manual button and set to 20 minute cook time.
  4. Press Pressure button to set on high pressure.
  5. When done cooking, turn off Instant Pot.
  6. Allow pressure to reduce naturally for 10 minutes.
  7. Turn pressure valve to Venting.
  8. Open lid once all pressure is released.
  9. Stir.
  10. Serve.
